The two-stage training course on Conflict Transformation and Peace Building carried out within the framework of the Youth for Peace project of Syunik-Development NGO, was successfully implemented.

In society, teachers are one of the main links that shape and spread the concept of peace.

The main goal of this course was to raise awareness of the topic among teachers and to spread it in educational institutions.

Throughout the training course, participants engaged in discussions on topics such as the role of conflict, conflict analysis, and its manifestations, cooperation, and practical exercises. These components served to reinforce the theoretical knowledge they acquired.

Many of the 27 teachers who took part in the two-phase training course shared their acquired knowledge and experiences with their colleagues and students in educational institutions.

At the end of the training course, participants received manuals on conflict transformation.

The course was conducted by Serob Khachatryan, an expert in the field of education and a YSU lecturer.

The Youth for Peace project is implemented by Syunik-Development NGO with the support of its long-time partner, the Swiss organization HEKS-EPER.
