On October 17, 2023, Beka Urushadze, Country Director at HEKS/EPER South Caucasus, Marc Zoss, HEKS/EPER’s Head of Asia and South Caucasus program, Regula Hafner, deputy head of global cooperation, and Armenian Office Representative Anna Sarkisyan visited the Syunik-Development NGO to get acquainted with the current activities of the NGO.
During the visit, our partners met the people of the Artsakh who sheltered in the Siranuysh camp, and they got acquainted with people of the Artsakh living conditions and needs.
The Hermon primary school also hosted the partners of the Syunik-Development NGO, where they met with children of the Artsakh. The visit of the partners continued with a meeting with the beneficiaries of the Syunik-Development NGO, who are engaged in beekeeping and horticulture.
At the end of the agenda, a discussion was held between the representatives of the HEKS/EPER organization, Abraham Mkrtchyan, the primate of the Vayots Dzor Diocese, and employees of the Syunik-Development NGO about further assistance.
It should be noted that the HEKS/EPER organization has already provided support to the people of the Artsakh who took refuge in the Siranuysh camp.
