For more than 28 years since its foundation, the Syunik-Development NGO has been organizing memorable summer camps for children and teenagers at Siranuysh Camp of the Vayots Dzor Diocese.
This year, from June 29th to Jule 10th, more than 40 children aged 15-17 from the Vayots Dzor Province hosted at Siranuysh Camp. Participants of the summer camp were children of families of fallen soldiers, those with excellent academic performance, and participants of school Olympiads.
Teenagers took part in seminars, different training-courses, song, dance, handicrafts, as well as sports, intellectual events, and evening performances.
During the summer camp, eight leaders from the Vayots Dzor Province, aged 19-35 worked with the children. Volunteers of the Syunik-Development NGO also joined the leaders of the summer camp.
At the end of the camp, like every year, this year also, a graduation event was organized by participants of summer camp. During that event, participants performed various musical performances.
Archbishop Abraham Mkrtchyan, primate of Vayots Dzor Diocese, Ararat Grigoryan, Governor of Vayots Dzor Province, employees of Syunik-Development NGO, children’s parents, and relatives of the camp were present at the graduation ceremony.
