MONITORING VISIT BY THE GERMAN BREAD FOR THE WORLD ORGANIZATION TO SYUNIK-DEVELOPMENT NGO

Representatives of the German Bread for the World organization Ilonka Boltze, Head of the Department of European and Worldwide Programmes, Claudia Hinderer, Personnel Services Programme Manager, and Kim Kwibuka, Programme Officer for South Caucasus and Central Asia paid a monitoring visit at the Syunik-Development NGO.

The NGO staff presented the ongoing projects, impact, and positive changes of the projects in the region.

Representatives of BfdW and Syunik NGO key staff members visited the displaced Ukrainians, who live in the Vayots Dzor region. Then, they paid a visit to Mashtots Publishing House and Youth Consolidation NGO, which were launched on the initiative of Syunik-Development NGO․

The representatives of the BfdW organization were hosted by Narek Sargsyan, Syunik-Development NGO Beekeeping Development Project Coordinator. During the meeting, Narek Sargsyan presented the ongoing initiatives and further plans for the project.

Then they visited the Demonstration Center of Renewable Energy which offers expertise consultations on the usage of renewable energy devices in the region and provides a space for environmental courses and training.

Later on, the guests visited Unicus Child Development Center to meet with the interns that were employed to work in the center.

The practical part of the meeting ended with a visit to Elpin Dairy Processing Company, where the guests tasted the company’s products, got acquainted with the process of making dairy products, and shared their impressions.

The excursion to Noravank Monastery and Areni cave was an integral part of the agenda.

Syunik-Development NGO expresses its gratitude to the long-term partner organization for fruitful cooperation.
