YOUTH EXCHANGE WITH THE PARTICIPATION OF MEMBERS OF THE YOUTH CONSOLIDATION NGO, AND YOUNG PEOPLE WHO MOVED TO ARMENIA DUE TO THE RUSSIAN-UKRAINIAN WAR

    On April 15-17, 2022, Syunik-Development NGO organized an international youth exchange project in the Lucy Tour hotel resort with the participation of young people of the Vayots Dzor and young people who moved to Armenia due to the Russian-Ukrainian war. 

    During the project, young people had an opportunity to participate in the interactive courses such as:

• Teamwork.

• Effective communication.

• Emotional intelligence.

• Leadership.

    The courses were conducted by Harutyun Harutyunyan, a lecturer at the American University, an independent expert of Syunik-Development NGO, and Lena Manukyan, a psychologist.

    The youth games, cultural events, song, dance, sports competitions, and bonfires, also were parts of the project. Excursions were organized to Arates Monastery, Zorats Temple, and the Jewish cemetery.

    At the end of the project, the young people made handmade angels with the help of the participants of the exchange project, which became the symbol of the Easter pavilion holiday.

    All the costs, including the transfer of the participants from Yerevan to Yeghegnadzor, and the costs of food and accommodation were covered by Syunik-Development NGO.

    Youth projects and the creation of new collaborations are a priority on the working agenda of the Syunik-Development NGO.
