AT THE END OF THE SECOND PHASE OF THE YOUTH MOBILITY PROJECT, THE SIRANUYSH CAMP OF THE VAYOTS DZOR DIOCESE HOSTED YOUTH OF VAYK AND JERMAK COMMUNITIES

Within the framework of the Youth Mobility project, active youth of Vayk and Jermuk communities arrived at the Siranuysh camp of the Vayots Dzor Diocese.

During the three-day youth mobility project, an evacuation course was carried out by the employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. The employees of the Ministry of Defense presented a Military Training course, applying theoretical and practical knowledge.

The youth met with Karen Asatryan, the director of the Yeghegnadzor Medical Center (MC) of Vayots Dzor and MC employees.

Karen Asatryan conducted a course of the basics of first aid and theoretical and practical knowledge.

Both during the Youth Mobility of Yeghegnadzor and Malishka communities and at the Youth Mobility of Vayk and Jermuk communities representatives of Syunik-Development NGO presented the sub-grant projects implemented within the Syunik-Development NGO’s Improvement of Income Possibilities in Rural Areas of Armenia project.

This time they presented the sub-grant application form to the participants, explained the process of writing a project using different methods and tools while developing a project proposal. The NGO sub-grants aim at supporting the initiation and implementation of youth and community projects.

Vanuhi Baghmanyan and Suzanna Torosyan, the editors of the German-French groups of Mashtots Publishing House, visited Youth Mobility project participants too. During the meeting, they introduced the translators’ school and presented the work of French-German groups.

A meeting-discussion took also place with Gegham Margaryan, head of the Agriculture and Nature Protection Department of Vayots Dzor region.

The topic of the discussion was the Assistance provided by Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Armenia.

Mher Asatryan, an employee of Areni Municipality, a participant of the 44-day war, visited the young people too. During the meeting, they discussed the topics of homeland-patriotism-state.

The Intellectual game was also part of the Youth Mobility project.
