One of the most important components of the Syunik-Development NGO annual summer camp was psychological training, which was carried out in cooperation with Ayb Educational Foundation and UNICEF Armenia.
For 10 days, 60 teenagers participated in Basic Life Skills project, which was a series of courses for children under 17, especially for children from families affected by the Artsakh war. The project aimed to develop capabilities of teenagers and provide basic educational tools for shaping the future and quality of life.
It consisted of 16 topics such as: self-awareness, stress management, emotional regulation, positive thinking, self-esteem, interpersonal skills, empathy, listening skills, dispute resolution, relationship management, confident communication, thinking skills, decision making, problem solving, critical and creative thinking, work skills, resilience.
