Summer Camp 2021 is over.
For more than 25 years since its foundation, Syunik-Development NGO has been organizing camps for children at Siranuysh camp of Vayots Dzor region, making their summer vacation more memorable.
This year, from August 4th to 13th, more than 60 children from Armenia and Artsakh were hosted at Siranuysh camp. Participants of the camp were children of families affected by the Second Artsakh War and families from border communities of Vayots Dzor. The project is implemented with the financial support of one of our long-term partner HEKS-EPER.
Camp participants took part in seminars, psychological trainings, song, dance, handicrafts and journalism clubs, as well as sports, intellectual events and evening performances. During these days, trained leaders worked with children and conducted workshops on Conflict Management, Effective Communication, Personality Recognition, Stereotypes using interactive methods.
Like every year, this year also, the participants were provided with free dental services at the Syunik-Development NGO Mobile Dental Clinic.
Volunteers from Germany and France, psychologists, various international and local organizations were with us during the camp, about which we will talk next.
