Capacity building of young people is one of the cornerstones of Syunik-Development NGO. For that purpose within the Social Development program the NGO implemented a two-day seminar on “How to Write a Grant Project”. The training gathered togather Syunik NGO’s Yeghegnadzor, Vayk and Jermuk community centers active initiative group members and participants of internship program.
The training included a combination of theory and practice. Topics were:
- What is the project cycle management?
- How to properly analyze the situation /market analysis?
- The effectiveness of the project, the expected outcome and impact,
- How to develop a project budget, action plan?
At the end of the training, based on the brainstorming on a specific field participants had selected their ideas which they could later use to apply for community development small grants.
