The Youth Information Centers (YIC) initiative was carried out from 2009 to 2010. The project aimed to strengthen democracy in the Vayots Dzor region and was sponsored by the U.S. Embassy in Armenia’s Democracy Commission Small Grants Program. Three YICs were established in Yeghegnadzor, Jermuk and Vayk cities to provide computer and internet training courses for youth, students and teachers, and internet access to youth initiatives for developing and planning their project ideas.
