Despite the challenges posed by their displacement, these young souls have found solace and strength in unity, turning a temporary refuge into a space of joy, creativity, and shared hope.
On December 28, 2023, a high festive mood prevailed in the Siranuysh camp of the Vayots Dzor Diocese. The New Year event of Artsakh children was filled with poems, songs and dances.
The New Year celebration event was attended by Ani Smbatyan, the president of the Syunik-Development NGO, Ani Ghazaryan and Serly Manouel, representatives and project managers of the KASA Swiss Humanitarian Foundation, Artsakh families and their children who found refuge in different settlements and Siranuysh camp, and employees of the NGO.
The KASA Swiss Humanitarian Foundation provided New Year’s gifts to 51 children participating and present at the event, thus increasing the children’s enthusiasm for the upcoming holidays.
At the end of the event, Ani Smbatyan and Serly Manouel shared New Year’s greetings with the children of Artsakh and all the guests.
