The implementation of programs promoting economic development has always been a priority for Syunik-Development NGO.
Within Syunik-Development NGO’s Improvement of Income Possibilities in Rural Areas of Armenia project demonstration center of renewable energy was established in the Aghasafi field of Yeghegnadzor. The demonstration center will enable more efficient work, contribute to the protection of the environment and climate, and use energy efficiently.
The center will be a long-term investment into the future of renewable energy in our region and will support public institutions, small and medium enterprises, and individuals, who wish to invest in the usage of renewable energy.
In order to increase the environmental awareness of the local population, the project will organize environmental courses to inform people about climate change and the benefits of using small-scale solar-photovoltaic systems at public institutions, and small and medium enterprises.
The project is implemented with the support of the Syunik-Development NGO’s partner German Bread for the World organization.
