Within the framework of the Horticulture Market Development program of Syunik-Development NGO, an exchange visit for farmers of Vayots Dzor region in Ashtarak city of Aragatsotn region was implemented in collaboration with Shen NGO.
The farmers visited Levon and Gurgen Martirosyans’s, and Aram Khalatyan’s large nurseries.
They got acquainted with the following topics։
- seedling care and treatment,
- obtaining new species and breeding,
- the main means of pest control.
During the exchange visit, nine farmers from the Vayots Dzor region had an opportunity to obtain experience in working in large nurseries.
The practical training course was conducted by Karen Gabrielyan, an agronomist of Shen NGO.
