From January 16th to 21st, 2018, within the framework of the Social Development Program funded by German organization Brot für die Welt, Syunik-Development NGO hosted an external evaluator Mrs. Ankica Dragin. The purpose of Mrs. Dragin’s visit was to assess the program outputs and outcomes based upon the initially set program objectives. Mrs. Dragin visited Syunik-Development NGO’s headquarter office, met with key staff members and learned about Syunik’s mission, projects and activities. She also visited Syunik’s Community Centers in Chiva, Jermuk and Vayk where she met with local beneficiaries, Initiative Group members, parents, teachers, and other stakeholders and discussed achievements, challenges, and possible directions for future work of the NGO in the field. In addition, Mrs. Dragin had an opportunity to meet with the vice mayor of Yeghegnadzor, Cross-border ToT’s alumni/peace facilitators and Syunik’s Georgian partner. One-day planning workshop was part of the visit as well. During the workshop ongoing and future activities of the program were discussed.
